An AndroidTM smartphone can be easily attached onto the AD-P1's built-in smartphone holder1. A bundled dedicated USB cable can be used to connect the AD-P1 to the smartphone2. The short design of the cable makes it easy to handle when in use. By utilizing the Multi-Function Shoe to transmit data, the USB-C digital terminal on the side of the camera is freed up for other uses.

High-speed, Reliable and Robust Connectivity

After connecting a compatible AndroidTM smartphone to compatible camera with Multi-Function Shoe Adapter for Smartphone Link AD-P1, high speed mobile 5G network can be utilized to transfer a large number of images and video to FTP/FTPS/SFTP servers with Mobile File Transfer App even in locations where Wi-Fi or LAN connectivity is not available.  This combination enables smoother high-speed photo/movie data transfer, expanding the range of shooting situations with easier, more effective workflow for professional photographers.
