The RF24-105mm F4 L IS USM realizes a compact design and advanced specifications, building on the wide diameter and short back focus distance which characterizes the RF mount to achieve a constant aperture value of f/4 across the entire zoom range. 3 Glass-molded (GMo) double-surface aspherical lens elements correct spherical aberration, distortion and astigmatism significantly and achieve high-contrast image quality from center to periphery throughout the entire zoom range.

The lens features Canon’s ASC (Air Sphere Coating) to reduce lens flare and ghosting caused by reflections and improve image clarity and contrast when shooting into backlight.

The RF24-105mm F4 L IS USM incorporates Canon’s thin-type high torque Nano USM. When used in conjunction with the EOS R series mirrorless camera’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology, the lens achieves a lighting fast AF speed of 0.05 sec1 during still photo shooting while provides silent and smooth Movie Servo AF during movie shooting. Full-time manual focus is also supported.
0.24x Magnification
The lens features 0.24x maximum magnification with 0.45m minimum focusing distance at 105m, which allows photographers to get closer to small subject and create impressive close-up shots with more details.

5-stop Image Stabilization2
The lens built-in optical image stabilizer offers up to 5-stop shake compensation2 to facilitate handheld shooting with a slower shutter speed in low light environment. The focus ring can be used as control ring6 by changing the setting of “Focus/Control Ring” on the compatible camera7.

Lens is compatible with Electronic full-time MF8, focus can be adjusted manually with focus ring anytime during ONE SHOT AF or SERVO AF.
