EOS R10 body only weighs 429g. Together with RF-S18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM kit lens, the combo weighs only 560g, highly portable for travel, snapshots, pet and food photography.
EOS R10, adopting Canon’s newly developed high-speed 24.2MP APS-C size CMOS Sensor and a high-speed DIGIC X digital image processor, offers high performance image processing and excellent image quality.
Supporting a standard ISO range of 100 to 32000 and expandable to ISO 51200, EOS R10 allows users to capture clear images with less noise in low light situations.
23 FPS High Speed Shooting
EOS R10’s electronic shutter1 supports up to 23 FPS2 high-speed continuous shooting with Auto Focus/ Auto Exposure Tracking, while its mechanical shutter captures up to 15 FPS3. This makes EOS R10 capable to capture unanticipated moments.
30FPS RAW Burst Mode
EOS R10’s “RAW Burst Mode”6 captures images with approx. 1.33x crop at approx. 30FPS. With “Pre-Shooting” enabled, EOS R10 will record images up to 0.5 seconds before the shutter release is pressed, capturing precious unanticipated moments for you.
Other Features
Panorama Shot
For the first time in the EOS series, EOS R10 features Panorama Shot (SCN mode), capable of capturing up to 200 shots at a time and let the camera merge them to form a high-resolution, high-quality panorama shot.
Focus Bracketing & Depth Composition
With EOS R10’s Focus Bracketing feature, users can shoot up to 999 frames and capture different focus points within a scene. These frames will be automatically stacked with “Depth Compositing” function in-camera to generate an image with clear focus across a deep depth of field.
EOS R10 ‘s Dual Pixel CMOS AF II provides up to 100％ AF coverage area7 with 651 frame zones. EOS R10 also features EOS iTR (Intelligent Tracking and Recognition) AF X inherited from EOS R3 with AF algorithm developed using Deep Learning technology for high performance Subject Recognition and AF tracking of people, animals4 and vehicles.5
People Detection
In addition to head, face and eyes detection, body detection algorithm is available to detect people for situations where large movements block or hide the face or the head.
Animal Detection4
Animal detection4 now can track the animal's body, face, and eyes steadily. Small subjects even in a far away distance still can be recognized and tracked.
Vehicle Detection5
Vehicle Detection capable of overall and spot detection for motorsports5 (automobiles and motorcycles). With “Spot Detection” setting, even driver’s helmet can be detected.
Advanced Subject Tracking
For flexible AF operability, subject tracking is now possible for all the 8 “AF Area” modes including 1-point AF and Flexible Zone AF in EOS R10. During shooting, the AF Tracking system will simply “grab” the desirable parts of a subject and track them with 1-point AF or zone AF. The camera will determine the optimum tracking position and perform subject detection across the entire AF area.
6K oversampling non-cropped 4K UHD 30P
EOS R10 records high-quality non-cropped 4K UHD 30P movies (4K Fine) oversampled from rich 6K RGB data for higher image quality, less moiré, minimal noise and color distortion.
In addition, EOS R10 also records approx. 1.56x cropped 4K UHD 60p movies when extra reach is needed.
For users who desire to capture slow motion movies, the camera also able to do that with the support of recording non-cropped FHD 120P High Frame Rate movies.
Internal microphone with noise cancelling
In EOS R10, the internal stereo microphone is built-in with noise cancelling feature for achieving better sound recording quality.

OLED EVF with OVF Simulation View Assist
EOS R10 features a high precision 0.39-inch 2.36M-dot OLED electronic viewfinder with up to 120FPS display frame rate developed by Canon.
OVF simulation view assist is provided to reproduce the view of an SLR optical viewfinder by displaying more natural highlights and dark gradations with HDR technology.
EOS R10 also equipped with a high definition 3.0-inch 1.04M-dot side-opening Vari-angle Clear View II LCD Touch Monitor.
Multi-Controller
Equipped with Multi-controller and Quick control Dial as found on high-end EOS cameras for an improved control.
Focus Mode Switch
A new “Focus Mode Switch” for quick switching of focus mode on RF/RF-S Lens.10 has been added to the front of EOS R10 for easy access.
