Designed for use with EOS R1, the Eyecup ER-iE blocks out stray light when facing backlight or a light source from the side, providing stable Eye Control AF for users wearing eyeglasses by reducing the entry of external light to viewfinder through the eyecup. It is also recommended for use with Eye Control AF when shooting outdoor under sunlight.
The Eyecup ER-iE can be rotated 360° (clicks at every 90°) for horizontal and vertical shooting, or for shooting with left or right eye using the viewfinder.
