Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A is an off camera shoe cord made for accessories for Multi-Function Shoe, it allows the use of Speedlite compatible with Multi-Function Shoe (e.g., Speedlite EL-5) approx. 0.8m off camera from EOS R camera equipped with Multi-Function Shoe. Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A also incorporated power delivery and audio transfer to support other Multi-Function Shoe accessories1. Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A also features dust and water resistance2 equivalent to that of EOS-1D Series cameras.

Creative Off Camera Flash Photography
Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A allows the use of Speedlite EL-5 or other Speedlite compatible with Multi-Function Shoe approx. 0.8m off camera from EOS R camera equipped with Multi-Function Shoe. The Accessory connector features tripod socket for mounting on flash bracket.
By mounting the Speedlite off-camera at a different angle or distance from camera instead of on top of the camera, flash photography with expanded creativity is possible.
Power Delivery and Audio Line
Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A incorporates power delivery to support Multi-Function Shoe accessories1 which are powered by camera, such as Speedlite Transmitter ST-E10.
The OC-E4A also incorporates audio line to support the off camera use of Multi-Function Shoe Directional Stereo Microphone DM-E1D or other audio devices compatible with Multi-Function Shoe.
Compatible with Traditional Hotshoe Accessories
In addition to Multi-Function Shoe accessories, Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A also works with Speedlites and accessories designed for traditional hotshoes via Multi-Function Shoe Adapter AD-E1.
Ideal for VR Workflow
The Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A is designed with VR workflow in mind. Its cable sits at an angle from the camera connector, thus preventing the cable from appearing in the VR images when shooting VR with RF 5.2mm F2.8L DUAL FISHEYE lens.
Dust and Water Resistant Design
Off Camera Shoe Cord OC-E4A features dust and water resistance2 equivalent to that of EOS-1D Series cameras. Armed with sealing gaskets between its outer covers and a dust and water resistant mounting foot, the OC-E4A can prevent ingress in case of unexpected exposure to dust or water droplets when connected to a camera and accessory.
