It features a speed adjustment dial and two zoom modes1. It also comes with a Zoom/Focus remote Connector (20-pin terminal), which supports accessories for Cinema lens and broadcasting lenses2. In addition, it supports remote zoom control using the Canon Camera Connect app or EOS Utility software3. The Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2B can be easily detached and attached without the need for special tools. Weighing only 165g, you will barely feel the addition when shooting handheld.

Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2B is equipped with Zoom Speed Adjustment Dial and 2 zoom speed modes are provided:
[Normal Mode]: Zoom speed from 3 seconds to 90 seconds
[High-speed Mode]4: Zoom speed from 1.5 seconds to 90 seconds
The zoom speed can be finely adjusted from low to high speed in a stepless manner with the Zoom Speed Adjustment Dial in accordance with the user’s intention.
Proven in broadcast and cinema lenses, a reliable DC motor is adopted to drive the zoom in Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2B. The DC motor provides both rapid zoom action and smooth, low-speed zooming.

In addition to Servo Zoom [SERVO], manual zoom support is also retained even when Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2B installed. By toggling the Zoom Mode Switch to Manual [MANU.], zooming can be operated by turning the lens’ zoom ring directly.
Easy to Install
The Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2B can be easily detached and attached without the need for special tools. The adapter can be attached to the lens quickly by simply tightening 3 mounting screws with fingers or a coin.
Since this adapter can be attached or detached while the lens is installed on a rig, gimbal, or tripod, the user doesn’t have to rearrange the shooting setup for installation.
The Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2B can be easily attached by tightening 3 mounting screws.
The included thumb rest accessory helps to avoid touching the zoom ring of the lens during servo zooming when shooting handheld, thus improving operability.
The thumb rest can be easily attached and detached using a hex key.
Supporting Various Zooming Operations
Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2B can be used in various ways depending on the shooting style and system configuration, including zooming with [Wide] and [Tele] Zoom Operation Switches on the main unit, zooming operations using Canon zoom servo grip, zoom demand, focus demand, etc. that the user may routinely utilize for movie shooting via the Zoom/Focus remote Connector (20-pin terminal) that supports accessories for Cinema lens and broadcasting lenses2.
In addition, user can assign zoom operation to camera-side by customizing buttons on compatible EOS cameras5 or joystick of compatible Cinema EOS cameras6, as well as remote operation via EOS Utility, Camera Connect3, Browser Remote6 or other means.

External Power Supply for Prolonged Shooting
The Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2B is powered by the camera via the lens to perform its operations. The optional USB Power Adapter PD-E1/PD-E2 can also be used as an external power supply via the built-in USB-C terminal.
Supplying power via USB-C terminal enables the [High-speed mode]4 to drive zooming and lowers the power drain from the camera, an effective mean for long-hour shooting.
Dust and Water Resistance
Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2B boasts dust- and water-resistant performance7 equivalent to that of RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z, satisfying the need of professional shooting under challenging conditions.
